Piercing

Anti-eyebrow
Facial surface piercing of the lower orbit of the eye.

Ashley
Inverse vertical labret. Ball on the lip and ball inside the lip.

Austin
Horizontal nose tip piercing.

Bridge
Horizontal nose bridge piercing. Otherwise known as the Erl or Niebuhr.

Cheek
From inside the mouth to the outside of the face. Could also be accomplished using a surface bar or micro dermal anchor.

Eyebrow
Piercing placed almost vertical on the eyebrow.

Frowney
A piercing through the lower lip frenulum.

Horizontal eyebrow
A surface piercing horizontally along the eyebrow, using a surface bar.

Jestrum
Vertical medusa piercing (centre of the top lip).

Labret
Piercing of the lower lip.

Lowbret
Low labret piercing near the chin.

Madonna
Upper lip 'beauty spot' piercing, otherwise known as Monroe.

Medusa
Piercing through the philtrum in the middle of the top lip. Also known as Upbret.

Nasal Lang
Piercing horizontally through the nose and septum in one piercing.

Nostril
Piercing of the outer cartilage of the nose. Also commonly known as 'nose piercing'.

Septum
Piercing through the small gap between the cartilages in the centre of the nose. Otherwise known as the 'bull ring'.

Smiley

piercing of the webbing in the middle of the top lip. Otherwise known as the 'scrumper'.

Snakebites
Matching pair of lower lip piercings, one either side.

Tongue
Usually through the natural gap in the centre of the tongue.

Tongue web

Piercing through the skin behind the tongue frenulum (the ligament that runs from the underside of your tongue to the bottom of the gums.

Uvula

The 'dangly' bit at the back of the mouth. Mistakenly called the epiglottis or tonsil piercing.

Vertical bridge

Piercing vertically between the eyebrows. Otherwise known as the 'Third eye'.

Vertical labret
Piercing vertically through the lip so that one ball sits where the labret usually sits, with the other ball on the lip.
